General porcupine information
Observe quietly from the permitted visitor area. Keep hands away from fencing, supervise children and wait for instructions. Do not touch, chase or tease animals. Feeding is allowed only with the express permission and direct guidance of the resident nun, who is the porcupines’ primary caregiver. Use only food she approves. Feeding is not guaranteed during a visit. Ask before taking photographs.
